The Boulder Association of Firefighters, IAFF Local 900 along with Ink & Drink Denver held their 5th Annual Charity Golf Championship at Twin Peaks Golf Course in Longmont, CO on Friday, September 6th.  88 golfers participated in the tournament this year which raised just over $12,000 dollars! Funds raised were donated to the Colorado Professional Fire Fighters Foundation (cpfffoundation.com).  The mission of the Colorado Professional Fire Fighters Foundation is to provide aid and support to Colorado fire fighters, their families, and dependents who are victims of tragedy. Donations to the CPFF Foundation go directly to families of fire fighters who have fallen or directly to fire fighters who were injured or have suffered great tragedy. We are more than happy to help raise money for the CPFF Foundation and have donated $22,000 over the last two years and are grateful for everything that they do to help our brothers and sisters and their families across Colorado

Golf teams this year represented not only members of the Local 900, but members and friends of public safety organizations from the front range.  7 different departments were represented from our area. This year's top golfers and trophy winners were our IAFF brothers from the Local 2203 Charlie Charbonneau and Alex Witner. Top Local 900 golfers were brother Mike Ealy and brother Jimmie James who had the honor of taking home the green jacket this year (pictured). It is also worth mentioning that our Local 900 sister, Hannah Grady made a hole in one!
